Russia is switching to national currencies when paying for energy resources. In the future, the country intends to abandon the euro and the dollar. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

“The trend to use less dollars or euros has changed a lot. Given the existing problems with settlements with these currencies, we will switch to national currencies only in our calculations. And in such conditions there is a demand for the yuan and the ruble. This movement will continue,” Novak said. in an interview with the TV channel "Russia 1".

According to him, now China pays for gas and partly for oil in yuan, payments are also made in rubles. The improvement of these mutual settlements in national currencies will be continued.
