The United States imposed sanctions against companies associated with Alisher Usmanov

The US government has imposed sanctions on Akkermann Cement CA JSC, associated with Alisher Usmanov's USM Holding, and Akhangarantcement JSC, which he owns.

Usmanov 's companies were also included in the new package of sanctions “Metalloinvest” and "Megafon".

The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury Department has put forward a demand to terminate operations with Akkermann Cement SA by July 11.
