12 state administration bodies to be abolished

Under the decree, as of January 1, 2023, a number of public administration bodies will be abolished, and their tasks and functions will be transferred to relevant ministries and agencies. At present, the Agency for International Cooperation and Development under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade ceased to exist, and its tasks and functions will be transferred to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.

-Agency for Alcohol and Tobacco Market Regulation and Wine Development -Agencies and functions related to agriculture have been transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture and those related to industrial development to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade;

Agency for Promotion of Foreign Languages at the Cabinet of Ministers - tasks and functions have been divided between the Ministry of Pre-school and School Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation;

-Insurance Market Development Agency under the Ministry of Finance - tasks and functions are transferred to the Ministry of Economy and Finance;

-Agency for Public-Private Partnership Development under the Ministry of Finance - tasks and functions transferred to the Ministry of Economy and Finance;

-Agency for Implementation of Capital Construction Projects in the Water Sector under the Ministry of Water Resources - tasks and functions transferred to the Ministry of Water Resources;

-Agency for Development of Medical and Social Services - tasks and functions transferred to the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment;

-Agency for Protection of Consumer Rights under the Antimonopoly Committee - tasks and functions transferred to the Committee for Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights;

-Uzbekchorvanasl Agency under the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development - its duties and functions are transferred to the Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development;

-Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers - its tasks and functions are divided between the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation;

-Investment Project Development Centre under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade - tasks and functions transferred to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade;

-National Chamber of Health Innovation under the Ministry of Health - tasks and functions transferred to the Ministry of Health.
