12 trillion UZS to be allocated for family business programme this year

The President said that the amount of financial assistance will be expanded to further encourage family businesses. In 2023, 12 trillion UZS will be allocated for the family business programme (in 2022, about 10 trillion UZS). According to a decision recently signed by the President, an additional $300 million will be allocated for family businesses.
Also:
—In 2023, the loan amount for expansion of entrepreneurs will be increased from the current 225 million UZS to 300 million UZS.
—The amount of unsecured loans to farmers will be increased to 50 million UZS (actually 33 million UZS);
—Entrepreneurs, who earlier received loans under family business programmes and showed good results, will be able to receive concessional loans under these programmes again (now they can be taken only once);
—Citizens who have received new loans will be able to receive the selfemployed person benefit;
—It is allowed to receive part of the loans on a plastic card.
