A presidential grant has been established for students in Uzbekistan

According to the adopted presidential decree, from the 2021/2022 academic year, 200 bachelors who scored the highest points in the entrance exams will be applicants for a presidential grant.

A quota of the presidential grant has been allocated for a certain field of education. The last applicant according to the quota will become a grant applicant and all those who scored the same score.

Among the first-year students of universities, a competition will be held to receive a State scholarship of the president under a presidential grant. Applicants for the presidential grant can participate, and the winners can be those who have studied all subjects with "excellent" in the first year, have achieved success in the spiritual, educational and research spheres. The scholarship under the Presidential Grant is paid to the student monthly from the beginning of the second year of study.

It is worth emphasizing that this resolution will push the younger generation to strive for knowledge, as well as for their self-development. Everyone who will try to get a presidential grant will improve themselves. Thus, the number of highly qualified specialists in Uzbekistan will increase significantly.
