Analysis of the export of building materials
The corresponding decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan established a plan for the export of construction materials and services to enterprises for 2021 in the amount of $ 270 million (which is 135% more than the forecast for 2020). In particular, in January-September it was planned to export in the amount of $ 178.6 million.
According to operational data, for 9 months of this year, the enterprises of the industry exported construction materials and services in the amount of $ 287.8 million, the plan was fulfilled by 161.1%. This is 141% or $ 84.0 million more than in the current period of 2020.
The above figures were established thanks to the export of ceramic tiles and ceramics in the amount of $ 47.3 million, aluminum profiles and panels for $ 27.4 million, PVC profiles, pipes and fittings for $ 53.5 million, ceramic bricks for $ 18.3 million. dollars, ceramic bricks in the amount of 19.4 million dollars, cement, drywall for 6.7 million dollars, dry mixes for 4.2 million dollars, wallpaper for 6.1 million dollars, natural decorative stone for 1.3 million dollars.
Compared to 2020, exported more than 2.6 times of ceramic tiles, 2.2 times of wallpaper, 5.6 times of natural decorative stone, 2.6 times of glass products.
During the reporting period, the geography of export of building materials expanded due to traditional markets such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Russia, Lithuania, Turkey, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, China and Iran.
The main export markets for building materials are the markets of neighboring republics, which account for about 71% of all exports. In particular, in terms of the country Kazakhstan - $ 85.0 million, Kyrgyzstan - $ 43.4 million, Tajikistan - $ 42.6 million, Turkmenistan - $ 8.6 million, Afghanistan - $ 7.4 million, export of construction materials to Russia amounted to $ 21.6 million, to Lithuania - $ 12.1 million, to Turkey - $ 6.3 million, to Ukraine - $ 7.5 million, to Azerbaijan - $ 2.7 million.
