Ancient Zoroastrian temple found in Norin District of Namangan region

Within the framework of the practical project on the topic “Studying the archaeological monuments of the Uchtepa-Bulokmozor complex of domestic and international tourism and turning them into a museum under the blue sky“, funded by the Ministry of innovative development, an ancient temple of the Zoroastrian era was identified in the Norin district.
During the excavations, the scientific team led by academician Akhmadali Askarov discovered extremely unique finds related to the ancient stone age, Zoroastrian views on the territory and the widespread spread of Islam, as well as a temple.
“We assumed that before carrying out the excavation work, it was necessary to have under the hill the Tomb of the ancient ruler and the wealth that, according to the traditions of that time, was embedded in it. The results were even more excellent than we expected – the scientific value and significance of the sources we have obtained are incomparable, " says academician A.Askarov.
