Benefits of international financial centers for each state

The first interview within the framework of the second issue of the Bright Uzbekistan project was held with the Managing Director of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers, Dr. Jochen Biedermann.

During the conversation, they talked about international financial centers, the history of their origin and the Alliance that united these centers. Dr. Biedermann, based on his experience, spoke about what steps need to be taken to make the Tashkent International Financial Center, created by the Agency for Strategic Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the initiative of the President of our country, become competitive.

"The International Financial Center is like an International Airport. Because such airports meet world standards, millions of people arrive and depart at such an airport. At such airports, guests are served at a high level. And compared to a local airport, sometimes they don’t even check their passports. Then the same applies to international financial centers, they should be in every state," Jochen Biedermann explained.

The founder of the Bright Uzbekistan project, Davron Abdullayev, briefly spoke about the essence of the project and thanked Dr. Biedermann for a meaningful conversation.
