Best-selling Android smartphone with 1TB of storage

The Realme GT Neo5 smartphone was unveiled on 9 February and only went on sale in China at midnight today.

Realme has already announced that the Realme GT Neo5 has already surpassed all Android smartphones with 1TB of flash memory released over the past year in terms of starting sales (in 24 hours) on JD.com and Tmall platforms.

To recap, the top-of-the-line version of the Realme GT Neo5 with 240-watt charging, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of non-volatile storage costs $515, making it the cheapest ever flash memory phone of that capacity. This version was completely sold out at the pre-order stage.

The Realme GT Neo5 gets a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a 6.7-inch 144Hz, 1.5K resolution AMOLED flat screen. It features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera with OIS. Two versions are available to customers: one with 150-watt and one with 240-watt charging. They differ in terms of battery capacity.
