Cooperation was established between TSAU and Egyptian universities Ayn Shams

The delegation led by the minister of Agriculture Aziz Voitov visited the Egyptian Center for agricultural research and the Egyptian Cotton Institute, held negotiations on raising bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level.
At the meeting, in cooperation with the National Center for knowledge and innovation in Agriculture of Uzbekistan (AKIS) and the Egyptian Center for agricultural research, it was agreed to carry out joint research projects on the selection of seedless grape varieties, the development of livestock, fisheries and the cultivation, processing of sugar beet, which is relevant to our republic.
There are 9 experimental stations of the Egyptian Research Institute of cotton growing, in which 98 varieties of fine-fiber grain were created.
Also, during the meeting, in cooperation with Egyptian scientists, it was agreed to establish selection work on the creation of new varieties of thin-fiber Walnut, resistant to diseases and pests, salinity and water shortages, as well as anomalous hot temperatures.
At the same time, cooperation was established between the Tashkent State Agrarian University and the Egyptian universities of Ain Shams. An agreement was reached on the development of joint educational programs and the organization of joint faculties in the areas of plant protection, agronomy, selection and seed production, Biotechnology, Agricultural Mechanization.
