FIFA have announced the candidates for the 2022 FIFA Player of the Year award

Among the contenders for the award are Karim Benzema, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Julian Alvarez, Jude Bellingham, Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Holland, Ashraf Hakimi, Robert Lewandowski, Sadio Mane, Luka Modric, Mohamed Salah, Vinicius Júnior and Neymar.
