For the first time, an International PLAS Forum was held in Tashkent

On June 1 of this year, Tashkent hosted the first International PLAS-Forum on the topic "Banks and Retail. Digital Transformation and Interaction".

The Forum was organized with the official support of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For the first time in the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialists, heads of the largest state and international private corporations, top managers of the leading banks of Uzbekistan and the CIS countries, representatives of ministries and departments gathered in one place.

The world's leading experts in the retail banking and payment industry, telecommunications, research and consulting companies, the banking community of the Eurasian continent (Banks and MFIs of Uzbekistan, the CIS and the EAEU), as well as technology and manufacturing companies discussed the development of the national payment system, the prospects for digital currencies of central banks (CBDC), the transformation of retail trade, cyber-stability of banking and many other topical issues.

The most important goals of the organization of the PLAS-Forum " Banks and Retail. Digital transformation and interaction " is the creation of a professional platform for the exchange of experience, as well as the demonstration and introduction of new technologies, the development and promotion of innovative solutions in the field of finance, banking and retail, the establishment of interaction between leading international players and companies in Uzbekistan, the creation of conditions for successful economic cooperation throughout the Central Asian region.

The Forum hosted a conference, round tables and an exhibition of modern equipment and technologies.
