From 2023, a visa-free regime will be introduced for citizens of Saudi Arabia

By presidential decree, a visa-free regime will be introduced in Uzbekistan for citizens of Saudi Arabia for a period of 30 days starting from January 1, 2023.

This is reflected in the decree of the President of Uzbekistan № 190 of August 16.

"Starting from January 1, 2023, a visa-free regime will be introduced for citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who present their own or a third country's air ticket for a period of 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan," the document says.

It is noted that the decree is adopted in order to improve the cultural, scientific and investment climate between Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as to create more favorable conditions for the development of international relations that will positively affect the development of the countries' tourism potential.
