«Groupe Casino» may open a sales network in Tashkent

Groupe Casino, one of the largest French retailers, plans to open a sales network in Tashkent, the press service of the capital's hokimiat reported.

The deputy hokim of Tashkent Sh. Rakhmonov met with representatives of Groupe Casino led by Erwan Huard, director of cooperation with Middle East and Central Asia countries, on January 24.

It was noted that "Groupe Casino" can also take a worthy place in Uzbekistan, and it was reported that the rapid development of the retail market offers unique opportunities for business.

At the meeting Erwan Huard told about one of the largest French retailers Groupe Casino with wide network of hyper, super and mini-markets. The guest noted that he is interested in opening a retail chain in Tashkent and hopes for the support of the capital's hokimiyat.
