A criminal case has been initiated after the burning of the holy book of Muslims, the Holy Quran, in the region of White Lake, east of Moscow, Russia. Law enforcement agencies are identifying the suspect. This was reported by TASS.

It is noted that during the monitoring of the social network, the police discovered a video showing the desecration of the Koran. It is believed that this was done in the Eastern District of Moscow.

"Currently, a criminal case has been initiated in connection with this situation. The officers of the internal affairs bodies are carrying out a complex search operation aimed at clarifying all the circumstances, identifying and arresting the suspect," said the press service of the Moscow Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
