International Film Festival to resume in Tashkent

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree «On the restoration and holding of the Tashkent International Film Festival», the Agency of Cinematography of Uzbekistan reports.

In accordance with the adopted resolution, this film festival will be held annually from September 28 to October 3 under the name «Pearl of the Silk Road». The film festival will be organized by the Agency of Cinematography of Uzbekistan. This year's film festival will be held under the slogan "Peace, Development and Education".

It should be noted that 355 foreign filmmakers, including 55 well-known film stars, will take part in the film festival. The festival will include master classes for young filmmakers with the participation of well-known specialists and directors, creative meetings, film trainings, round tables, film exhibitions, as well as screenings of the best domestic and foreign films.
