Migrants from Uzbekistan will be involved in the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome

The Russian government approved a pilot project to attract 10 thousand migrants from Uzbekistan.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on a pilot project to attract labor migrants from Uzbekistan to work in construction companies.

It is assumed that 10 thousand vaccinated migrants will be sent to specific firms.

"To implement a pilot project to attract citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to carry out temporary work with Russian legal entities engaged in economic activities in the construction sector," the resolution says.

The participants indicated the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, other departments and the Moscow government.

In addition, Deputy Minister of Construction Nikita Stasishin said that labor migrants from Uzbekistan will be attracted to the construction of "large infrastructure facilities", including at the Vostochny cosmodrome. The patents will indicate the companies for which they will work.
