People with disabilities are in the spotlight

The National Office of Innovation has introduced the Braille alphabet, which allows blind people to write on electronic devices, and Smart Cane devices, which provide early warning of roadblocks.
In order to ensure the education and safety of people with disabilities in our country, the National Office of Innovation has implemented an innovative Braille display device with the ability to read e-books for the blind. The device was introduced on December 7 at the Society of the Blind of Uzbekistan and on December 10 at the Central Library for the Blind.
A smart cane has also been developed to warn visually impaired people of their ability to move freely and independently. The device was introduced on December 10 at the Specialized Boarding School for the Blind No. 77 under the Tashkent City Department of Public Education.
In addition, to ensure the safety of lonely elderly people, an autonomous medical assistant has been set up to help them receive timely and prescribed medications.
