President familiarizes with activities of Aysel Energy Ltd

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev examined the activities of Aysel Energy LLC in the capital city. "Aysel Energy is capable of producing 10,000 pieces of large-size electrical equipment a year. The localization level at the plant, which uses Turkish technology, has reached 70 percent.

The result is a reduction in production costs and transformer installation costs. This will make it possible to renew obsolete transformers not only in the capital, but also throughout the republic.

Officials reported that this year the power grid demand across the country will be 3.2 thousand transformers and 12 thousand kilometres of cables. The head of state instructed to analyse imports and increase the volume of production, as well as increase the share of domestic producers when placing orders.

In general, the development of this area of the energy sector will serve to improve the sustainability of power grids.
