Republic of Korea gives $12 million grant to AMMC

According to information, the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea has decided to allocate a grant of 15 billion won (about $12 million) to the Almalyk mining and smelting plant.

It was also noted that within this grant, an industrial pilot shop will be established at the Uzbek-Korean scientific and technical centre of the association on production of rare metals and hard alloys.

The workshop has been supplied with up-to-date laboratory and technological equipment. Commercialization of scientific developments, modernization of production on the basis of the program and research work on attracting new technologies are carried out here.
