Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been vaccinated against coronavirus

The official representative of the president, Sherzod Asadov, said at a traditional media briefing that the president had received the vaccine.

«The head of our state, as a responsible citizen, took the vaccination process seriously and fully agreed with the vaccination procedures. At the time of vaccination, the President of Uzbekistan had three vaccines in operation in the capital: «Sputnik V», «AstraZeneka» and a vaccine developed jointly with China and Uzbekistan. The head of state received one of these vaccines. Currently, the vaccination process is underway in the country. Our president, as a people's leader, calls on citizens to get vaccinated», – Sherzod Asadov said.
