The Ministry of Health recommends residents to wear masks, and allergy sufferers and asthmatics not to go outside

Yesterday in our country, due to strong winds, dust and sand storms, uncharacteristic of the season, were observed. As a result, a very dry topsoil has risen, and the dust content in the atmospheric air exceeded the established norm by 5 times.
According to the forecast of the Center of the Hydrometeorological Service, today, on November 5, in Tashkent the wind speed will reach 5-10 m / s, and in other places of the republic - 7-12 m / s.
“In such a situation, it is not recommended to walk on the street,” says the director of the Republican Scientific Specialized Allergy Center, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Ilmira Razikova. - Especially people with bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, cough accompanied by itchy throat, bronchitis, bronchial hyperreactivity and other chronic respiratory diseases should not go outside.
When walking outdoors, be sure to wear medical masks and change them every two hours. Young children, pregnant women and older people are also advised to exercise caution in this situation.
