There was an explosion on the eve of the Japanese prime minister's speech

Today in Wakayama in western Japan, near the place where Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was giving a public speech, a loud explosion occurred. It was reported by TV channel NHK.
It is reported that the head of government was evacuated and taken to a police station in Wakayama, his life is not threatened.
Before Kishida's speech, an unknown man threw a bomb or torch-like object and it exploded. He was detained by security personnel. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Kishida returned a short time later and continued his speech, apologizing to the local population for the disturbance caused by the explosion during his speech.
"The incident caused you much anxiety and inconvenience, for which I apologize," the prime minister said.
