Uzbekistan ranked 104th in security index

Analytical service Numbeo has published a ranking of countries by crime rate for 2023. Uzbekistan was ranked 104th out of 142 countries. Qatar is considered the safest country in the world.
Specifically, Qatar was ranked 142nd. The country's crime index is 14.15, while its safety score is 85.85. Among the CIS countries, Kazakhstan (48th), Belarus (34th) and Kyrgyzstan (38th) have high crime rates, while Moldova (63rd), Russia (94th) and Uzbekistan are considered safer. Uzbekistan's crime index was 33.5 percent and its security index was 66.5 percent.
The list of "most criminal" countries includes Venezuela (1st), Papua New Guinea (2nd) and Afghanistan (3rd). Germany is ranked 100th, while Turkey is 93rd.
Uzbekistan was ranked 104th out of 142 countries in the Crime Perception Index 2022.
It is noted that crime is high in countries with high rankings, and low in countries with high security. The index measures a country's overall crime rate based on surveys.
