Uzbekistan's most active banks in fourth quarter 2022

The Centre for Economic Research and Reforms has updated the Index of Banking Activity and compiled a quarterly ranking of 29 commercial banks in Uzbekistan.

Kapitalbank was again ranked first in the ranking of Uzbekistan's most active large banks by the end of the fourth quarter. "Khamkorbank ranked second in the ranking and Asia Alliance Bank was ranked first.

It is noted that Asia Alliance Bank retained liquidity (first place) and financial intermediation (first place), improving asset quality indicators by two positions to fifth place and improving management efficiency by three positions to sixth place.

However, Asia Alliance Bank came in last (17th) in terms of capital adequacy.

Uzmilli bank managed to hold 17th place in financial intermediation in the fourth quarter, while Khamkorbank climbed by three ranks, Investbank and Agrobank moved down by two, and Halk Bank dropped by one position.

"Asaka Bank retained its lowest position in the income potential ranking, Halk Bank dropped two positions, and Aloka Bank and Agrobank dropped one position.
