When will the prices of bell peppers stabilize?

It is expected that by the second half of April, the prices of Bulgarian pepper in the markets of Uzbekistan will stabilize. This was announced by the head of the Greenhouse Development Department of the Agricultural Services Agency Shavkat Azizov.

"Currently, a sufficient amount of Bulgarian pepper is grown in greenhouses in our country to meet the needs of the population, to provide domestic markets. It is expected that in the second half of April, the prices of Bulgarian pepper will stabilize,” Azizov says.

According to him, the increase in prices for this product was caused by severe frosts in January and insufficient heat supply to the plant during the growing season. As a result, the growing period of Bulgarian pepper is delayed by 20-25 days.

For reference. Currently, Bulgarian pepper is sold in the markets for an average of 50-60 thousand rubles.
