More than 3 billion soums were spent on charity

A nationwide charity hashar took place in Uzbekistan on August 21. According to the data provided by the Ministry for Support of Mahalla and Family, the following events were held during the nationwide charity hashar in the country:

More than 14 thousand 71 hectares have been landscaped and disinfected;
Exported over 12 thousand 60 tons of waste;
12,419 kilometers of gutters and trays were cleared;
9 thousand 287 graves and 711 graves were landscaped and put in order;
More than 5 million 250 thousand trees have been whitewashed.

Also, measures were taken to provide gratuitous assistance to socially vulnerable groups of the population:

More than 168 thousand square meters of 5 947 low-income residential buildings were repaired;
Material assistance was provided to 10 thousand 297 families in need, including 3456 disabled people and lonely elderly people.
