UzAuto Motors confirmed information on temporary suspension of production of Chevrolet Spark

UzAuto Motors carried out a phased transformation of management and production, within the framework of which it was planned to switch to the production of cars on the basis of a single unified platform.
At the first stage, these models will be Chevrolet Tracker and Chevrolet Onix cars.

The planned installation and commissioning works necessary as part of the transition, which would allow to master the production of the Tracker and Onix models in the future, were carried out for the period from mid-July to the end of August 2021.

This large-scale modernization took place against the backdrop of an acute shortage of semiconductors, so necessary for the production of cars. Due to these factors, the production of Chevrolet Lacsetti and Chevrolet Spark models was temporarily suspended.

UzAuto Motors intends to resume production of these models in the near future.
