The size of fines for traffic violations is increasing

Since September 1, due to the increase in the size of the BRV to 270 thousand soums, the amount of fines for violating traffic rules is also increasing.

The following fines are also established for violations of traffic rules:
• for an unfastened seat belt-135 thousand soums;
• for the absence of a first-aid kit, a vest, a fire extinguisher, an emergency stop sign and a technical inspection – 135 thousand soums;
• for driving without documents-270 thousand soums, without insurance-270 thousand soums, without numbers – 1 million 350 thousand soums;
• for driving through a red light – 540 thousand soums;
• for stopping in the wrong place – 540 thousand soums;
• for using the phone while driving – 810 thousand soums;
• for speeding up to 20 km/h – 270 thousand soums;
• for speeding from 20 to 40 km/h – 1 million 350 thousand soums, more than 40 km/h – 2 million 430 thousand soums;
• for driving into the oncoming lane– 2 million 700 thousand soums;
• for refusing to med. examinations for intoxication – 4 million 50 thousand soums and deprivation of rights for up to 3 years;
• for driving under the influence of alcohol – 6 million 750 thousand soums and deprivation of rights for up to 3 years;
• for tinting done without permission – 6 million 750 thousand soums;
• for tinting done repeatedly without permission during the year – 10 million 800 thousand soums.
