How many first graders will receive the President's Gift?

Today, on August 23, about 650 thousand traditional "presidential gifts" intended for first graders were sent to the regions. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science.

"The President's Gift" includes 12 types of educational materials, including a briefcase, notebook, album, watercolors, colored paper, felt-tip pens, colored and simple pencils, ballpoint pen, plasticine, glue and an eraser.

Before the start of the new school year, gifts will be delivered to all schools and presented to first graders on the first school day.

In the 2021/2022 academic year, it is planned to enroll 641,604 students in the first grades.
