1.5 trillion soums to be allocated for the development of medicine in Andijan

This was stated by the presidential candidate of UzLiDeP Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with voters in the Andijan region.

The candidate spoke about the work to be done in the future for the further development of the medical industry in the region.

In particular, over two years, 11 new family clinics and 29 family medicine centers will be opened in cities and regions.
Perinatal centers will be created in Pakhtaabad, Kurgan-Tyub, Shakhrikhan and Balikchi districts.
Every year 900 thousand children and pregnant women receive 7 types of vitamins free of charge.

Surgical departments of regional medical associations are equipped with modern medical equipment.
Hospitals in Andijan and Khanabad, Asaka, Balikchi, Jalal-Abad, Markhamat, Ulugnor and Pakhtaobod will be equipped with laparoscopes. As a result, in the area near fireplaces, operations are performed on the gastrointestinal tract, liver and gall bladder for more than 20 thousand people a year.

Centers for trauma and acute vascular diseases will be created in Kurgantepe and Shakhrikhan, as well as a hemodialysis service.
As an experiment, separate health care centers will be established in 170 primary health care facilities.

The clinic of the Andijan State Medical Institute will be completely reconstructed, on the basis of which a "medical center" will be created for the population of the valley, which will perform 7000 complex operations per year in cardiology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and urology.
The number of private medical institutions will reach 1000.
