260 thousand people visited the exhibition in the Louvre dedicated to Uzbekistan

On 6 March, an ambitious project dedicated to the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan - the exhibition "The Splendor of Uzbekistan's Oases. At the Crossroads of Caravan Routes" - concluded its work in the Louvre in Paris.
"The Splendor of Uzbekistan's Oases. At the Crossroads of Caravan Routes" is a long-awaited and challenging project.
It took four years to prepare for the exhibition. More than 70 very rare exhibits made of ceramics, wood, metal, wall paintings and paper were restored for display in the famous Parisian museum. A total of 138 items from Uzbekistan's museums were on display.
For the first time, the region's rich cultural heritage was on exhibit in one of the world's biggest museums, opening up the history of the Great Silk Road to an international audience," said the organisers of this exhibition.
More than 260,000 people have visited the exhibition since it opened on November 23, 2022.
