412,000 real estates in the cadastral database

On December 21, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev organized a meeting on the formation of land accounting and state cadastres, the implementation of digital technologies in the industry.

The Presidential Decree "On steps to thoroughly enhance the system of land accounting and state cadastre" was signed on September 7, 2020. According to the decree, the Cadastre Agency was founded under the Republic of Uzbekistan's State Tax Committee. The decree, among other things, set the task of registering state cadastre objects and entering them into the National Geographic Information System.

This year, a law was adopted on the allocation of rural land on the basis of open competition, privatization of non-agricultural land by auction. For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, a general census of agricultural land is being conducted. To date, electronic maps of 23 million hectares of rural land have been created. Of this, 22 million hectares have been registered.

Previously unregistered 412,000 real estate were included in the cadastral database. 478,000 objects were identified as additional devices, and the cadastral value was revised.

Moreover, the meeting identified requisite tasks ahead.
First and foremost, it was underlined that it is critical to complete the registration of agricultural properties by April 1 of the following year. To accomplish so, the category of 2.7 million hectares of agricultural land must be determined.

Next year, 80,000 hectares of public-lease property will be registered with the state and then placed up for tender.

There are many non-agricultural lands in the region that need to be used more efficiently. For example, the State Committee for Forestry enables more than 10 million hectares, the Ministry of Water Resources - 820,000 hectares, and 450,000 hectares near roads. In addition, 3 million 300 thousand hectares of land are in the reserves of khokimiyats.

The head of state stressed the need to create an electronic map including these lands and register them as state property.
