467 contracts worth 75.9 billion UZS were signed through the e-cooperation portal

A regional inter-sectoral industrial fair organized by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade in cooperation with the Jizzakh regional administration was organized in Jizzakh.

The fair was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, as well as entrepreneurs, manufacturers and exporters from Jizzakh region and other regions of Uzbekistan.

775 industry and regional enterprises participated in the fair, 142 of which presented over 3,000 types of local products.

Presentations were made on the investment and industrial potential of the relevant sectors, the specifics of production in different regions, as well as measures to stately support entrepreneurs and exporters by the heads of industry associations participating in the fair, in particular, “Uzeltexsanoat”, “Uztukimachiliksanoat” and the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, as well as a number of commercial banks.

Within the framework of the fair, a working group consisting of heads of ministries, departments and local authorities visited local industrial enterprises such as Newland, ADM Jizzakh, Global Optical Communication Uzbekistan, Minguan Silu Industry, Master building products, Jada Color Tekstil. Moreover, they got acquainted with the technological process of production, talked with the management and staff of the enterprise.

In compliance with results of the fair, 467 contracts worth 75.9 billion UZS were reached through the e-cooperation portal. Of these, the total value of contracts concluded by regional manufacturers amounted to 60.2 billion UZS. The value of contracts concluded by enterprises of the sector amounted to 15.7 billion UZS.
