A center to support entrepreneurs with disabilities has opened in Tashkent

As part of the Navruz celebrations, the Center for Support of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities and Persons with Disabilities, organized by the Association of Social Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, was opened in Tashkent. The main purpose of the center is to hold charity events for children with disabilities and children from needy families.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov, Mayor of Tashkent Jahongir Ortikhojayev, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, social tourism associations and the media.

The main tasks of the Center for Support of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities and Persons with Disabilities are:

• implementation of joint projects for the development of inclusive tourism;

• assistance in creating conditions for the movement of people with disabilities;

• Development of draft state programs, legal documents and other decisions in the field of social tourism and the implementation of public control;

• study the conditions created for people with disabilities in tourist facilities;

• Development of convenient tourist routes in Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Karakalpakstan;

• Organizing charitable events in cooperation with ministries and other government agencies

The center is located in the Navruz ethnopark in the Tashkent-24 house.
The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, in cooperation with the Social Tourism Association, has organized two-day tourist trips to Samarkand and Bukhara for 50 people with disabilities as part of the Travel for All project.
