A delegation from the German Federal Tourism Association is in Uzbekistan

On the initiative of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, a delegation of representatives of German travel agencies, hotel businesses and specialized media led by Norbert Fiebig, president of Germany's largest federal association of tourism (DRV) visited our country.

The representatives of German tourism industry visited tourist routes of Bostonlik district of Tashkent region, where they got acquainted with potential of winter and mountain tourism in the country, as well as the activities of Amirsoy Mountain Resort. In addition, a study tour to Samarkand and Khiva, historic cities of the country, was organized for the guests.

Within the framework of the visit the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan is also expected to hold negotiations on deepening cooperation with Germany to promote Uzbekistan's tourism brand in Germany through various PR events and road shows, as well as publication of articles on our country in German publications.
