A list of additional areas of cooperation was signed

On July 12, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich.

Within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, first of all, priority directions of mutual cooperation in the fields of trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, innovations, migration and tourism were considered.

The head of our state emphasized that Uzbekistan, as an observer state, has established systematic cooperation with the structures of the organization.
The relevant memorandum and Joint Action Plan for the period until 2023 are being implemented. The list of additional areas of cooperation was signed today.

It was noted with satisfaction that the indicators of mutual trade and investments with the CIS countries are growing at a positive pace.

Special attention was paid to the issues of eliminating trade barriers, strengthening industrial cooperation and encouraging business relations, developing project cooperation, promoting programs and projects in the field of transit, simplifying migration procedures, and expanding the flow of mutual tourists.

It was agreed to hold the next meeting of the Joint Working Group.
