A maximum speed of 60 km/h has been set in some regions of Uzbekistan

The speed of vehicles on a number of streets in the capital and other regions of the country has been reduced from 70km/h to 60km/h.

This decision was approved by Decision No. 3 of the Republican Special Commission for Road Safety. This was reported by the press service of the State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the decree, the maximum speed is set at 60 km/h in the following areas:

In the city of Tashkent:
—The maximum speed for vehicles on the streets and within the Small Ring Road is set at 60km per hour.

In Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan:
—Uzbekiston Street (between 0-4.5 km of 4R176), E. Alakoz Street (between 4.5-11.1 km of 4R176), Little Ring Road Khoja Owul Street (between 11.1-14 km of 4R176), A. Dosnazarov Street (between 0-10 km of 4R176 "a), Karakalpakstan Street (between 0-2.5 km of 4R174), I. Karimov Street, M. Dumanazarov Street (between 0-10.5 km of 4R176).
