A meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Tashkent International Investment Forum was held

On March 15, 2022, a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the First Tashkent International Investment Forum was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S. Umurzakov.

The meeting was attended by heads of ministries, departments, industry associations, as well as heads of local authorities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent via video conference.

A wide range of issues related to the formation of the business program of the forum, the organization of participation of foreign delegations, investors and the media, ensuring compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety requirements and other aspects of preparation were discussed.

The heads of ministries and departments reported on the work being done in the relevant areas and received additional instructions on the quality and timeliness of tasks.

The main tasks of the forum are to introduce the new Uzbekistan to the world business community, to promote our country as a priority for foreign investors, to attract foreign investment and modern technologies to the economy, to identify new "growth points" in international economic cooperation. It was emphasized that it was to explore areas of common interest in order to establish direct contacts between the two circles.
