A meeting was held with entrepreneurs and exporters of Samarkand region

On April 5, the Government Commission on Foreign Trade, Investments, Local Industry Development and Technical Regulation chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov headed by the heads of ministries, departments, industry associations and commercial banks.
He traveled to the region to study the current situation and develop proposals for the use of investment, industrial and export potential and opportunities.
During the visit, a meeting with regional entrepreneurs and exporters was held at the Palace of Youth Creativity in Samarkand.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and analyze systemic issues and to quickly address the problems of business with the involvement of responsible structures.
More than 200 entrepreneurs who took part in the event had the opportunity to raise issues related to the implementation of investment projects, production and export.
During the discussion, it became clear that entrepreneurs in the region face problems related to the expansion of production, the allocation of loans for investment projects or working capital, obtaining permits, certificates and licenses, access to utilities, as well as land allocation.Each of the issues raised was considered by the members of the Commission with the participation of the heads of relevant ministries, departments and local authorities. Practical solutions to each problem have been developed, and targeted guidance has been provided to relevant managers with clear timelines.
The heads of ministries, departments, commercial banks and local authorities were also instructed to intensify cooperation with entrepreneurs in order to take immediate action on complaints.
At the end of the meeting, officials were given specific instructions to address the problems of entrepreneurs and exporters. The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan supervises the implementation of the commission's tasks.
