A meeting was held with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan

On April 25, 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan Musa Jamanbayev.

Receiving copies of credentials of the Ambassador, V. Norov congratulated him on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of Uzbek-Kyrgyz good neighborly relations and strategic partnership. It was noted that the parties are ready to further intensify contacts in the political, trade, economic, transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as the schedule of future events at the highest, highest and interregional levels were reviewed.
It was agreed to continue cooperation within the UN, CIS, SCO, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Organization of Turkic States and other international organizations.
