A meeting was held with the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic

On March 18, 2013, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to Uzbekistan (with residence in Moscow) Frank Castellanos.

Receiving the credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his inauguration and wished him success in his responsible duties.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for intensifying cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Dominican Republic in political, diplomatic, trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation within the UN and the Organization of American States.
