A meeting was held with the Secretary General of the Gulf arab countries Cooperation Council

Today, August 4, minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan v.b. Vladimir Norov met with Naif al-Hajraf, secretary general of the Gulf arab states Cooperation Council.

At the meeting, it was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and the Gulf arab states Cooperation Council and its member countries have become significantly more active and enriched with new practical content.

Also, views were exchanged on the schedule of upcoming events. Particular attention was paid to the preparation for the first meeting of the strategic dialogue “Central Asia – Gulf arab states Cooperation Council”, which serves to strengthen ties between the two regions this year.

In addition, the progress of the implementation of the agreements reached earlier was considered.
