A new forest will be planted around Charvak

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on measures to prevent the reduction of vegetation cover in the mountains and foothills around the Charvak reservoir.

The document approves the following program of comprehensive measures:

♦ increase the number of trees and shrubs to prevent soil erosion;
♦ creating shelters from strong winds and dust storms;
♦ regulation of grazing areas and burial areas;
♦ organization of large-scale scientific research aimed at studying the systemic factors affecting the reduction of vegetation cover;
♦ environmental measures, environmental protection and public health;
♦ implementation of a set of measures aimed at improving the territory.
