A new system for regulation of construction and design work will be introduced

According to the analyzes of foreign experts, if the "master plans" are not developed, by 2030 infrastructure costs will double and agricultural land will decrease by 30,000 hectares.

"In general, with construction, architecture has lagged behind. Therefore, a new system will be introduced to regulate construction and design work at the neighborhood, district (city), regional and republican levels," said the head of state.

The Republican Council for the development of regional master plans and master plans will be established.

The position of Chief Architect was introduced in the Ministry of Construction, and he was given the status of First Deputy Minister.

Project offices will be opened in the regions, headed by the first deputy mayor and the chief architect of the region.

Development of general and master plans will consist of 3 stages based on a new approach.

At the first stage, the Council of the Republic will develop a Master Plan, which will determine the land and infrastructure needs and boundaries for the specialization of the area, transport-logistics, industrial and service projects.

In this regard, development indicators of the region are determined based on economic, social and ecological criteria in the near (5-year), medium (10-year) and long-term (20-year) periods.
