A new way to fight corruption in the state bodies of Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, from October 1, 2021, internal anti-corruption control units will be formed in all state organizations.

These institutions are responsible for taking measures for the early detection and prevention of corruption, eliminating their causes and conditions, preventing conflicts of interest and forming an intolerant attitude to corruption.

The heads of the internal anti-corruption control units are hired through an open competition held by state organizations jointly with the Anti-Corruption Agency, and are dismissed from their posts in agreement with the Agency.
