A project office for the development of the mining and metallurgical industry has been established

In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, a Project Office for the Development of Geology, Mining, Metallurgical and Copper Processing Industries is being formed under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction in the form of a state institution.

A proposal was also made to create a Consortium with the participation of leading engineering, financial and legal consultants and experts on the assessment of mineral reserves based on international standards.

The staff of the Project Office consists of 18 units of local and foreign specialists, including representatives of the Consortium participants.

The activities of the Project Office are carried out under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction.
