Additional convenience for making payments by the population

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a decree aimed at creating additional convenience for the population in making payments.

According to the document, starting from May 1, 2023 commission payments for the provided payment services will be collected not from an individual, but through deduction from the amount of payment regardless of the form of payment.

This will apply to various types of payments such as state fees, administrative fines, utilities and transport tickets.

The amount of commission payments will not exceed one per cent of the payment amount, while the total amount cannot exceed the limits set by the Central Bank.

In addition, this list may be supplemented with new types of payments in the future.
