Adobe introduces Firefly neural network for image generation

Adobe has launched its own service for generating images using artificial intelligence. Its name is Firefly.
At launch, only two tools are available. One of them can create an image from a text description, while the other creates stylized text.
The main difference of the new product is that licensed content and materials that do not violate copyrights were used to train the neural network. This was done so that Adobe could not be accused of violating the copyrights of illustrators and other artists. Despite this, the company will pay for the work of artists whose work is used to further train the neural network.
Currently, the Firefly neural network is only available in the browser, but in the future it will appear in Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro. In addition, anyone can leave a request and try out the new product as part of beta testing.
