Akbar Jo`raev - Best student-athlete of the year
Akbar Joraev, a junior at the Weightlifting Department of the All-Union Faculty of All-Union Wrestling of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports, took the first place in the nomination "Student Athlete of the Year" of the traditional competition "Student of the Year 2021".
P.S: Akbar Juraev won the “Tokyo -2020 Summer Olympics” and World Championship in 2021, breaking the Olympic record and the world record at the World Championship in Tashkent. He was also named the "Best Athlete of the Year" in Uzbekistan in 2021.
